There are many different definitions of "Art". Some would say it is a thing of expression, created by one person,
in any of a multitudes of different mediums, and experienced by another . Art is also 'communication'. When most people look at the ancient structures, sculptures, wall paintings, music, petroglyphs and pictographs, they see this as 'art'. At that time, however, they were using the materials at hand to 'record' their history, culture, observations, seasons, and also, for decoration. What could have been a 'craft' or an invention of necessity at one time, now has been treasured and looked upon as an 'art'.

However The time of the Seventh Fire is a time of learning the "art of living life" as an artform. Our own lives
are the canvases upon which we lay the paint and direct the strokes, and create the patterns of our futures. Please feel free to submit for Art Section, pictures, poetry, art, music, that you think exemplifies this time, your dreams, your desires for yourself and for the future. What do YOU want to say to the world?

REVERSE GRAFFITI: South African Artists Tag Walls By Scrubbing Them Clean

Graffiti is one of the most controversial art forms out there since it defaces public property – but what if graffiti artists actually cleaned up the walls they tagged up by etching their sketches into the grime that already exists on them? The delightful process, called reverse graffiti or “scrubbing” isn’t new – we’ve written about it hereand here before – but awesome examples of it keep popping up. Case in point: one band of students in Durban, South Africa who’ve been gracing spaces with works of the subversive street art form in their area

A variation of the song is known as the Bugle Call a.k.a. Taps and is played beautifully on the trumpet by 13 years old at the time who has terrific breath power played this song on the trumpet in an Andre Rieu’s concert performed early 2008 in the Amsterdam Arena, Netherlands.  Listening and watching her is mesmerizing and the effect goes to my soul as if she were an angel.

Many of you may never have heard taps played in its entirety.  This is an opportunity you won't want to miss and I guarantee you'll never forget. I just realized that after a few minutes I’m still crying.

Don't Bite The Hand That's Feeding You Original 1929 Immigrant Song - This you gotta see.
This is an actual recording (with photos) of the 1929 song for immigrants who have come to the United States.
It should be re-recorded and released today. It applies to both the U.S. and Australia.

It must have taken a lot of digging to pull this one out!!

Really reaches back into the past. Happened back then but sure isn't happening now.

This is a video and song about immigration that was very popular around the late 1920's, and early - 30's.
Maybe this should be our Immigration National Anthem....but that wouldn't be politically correct today, would it?
Well, maybe it should be played more often and loud.
If It was good enough then - - - would it be good enough now! ?

August Wilson's Sacred Book  The shattering of a culture, a sense of separation, a loss of identity -- all too-constant patterns in black American history -- emerge in questions of self worth, images of severed ties, things broken, a fractured reality, in the works of playwright August Wilson. In language is identity, and in speech the tool to tell one's history, to name and define the world in order to make it one's own; his characters' struggle against the alienation of immersion into the language of a world which denies them their own is a common element of Wilson's plays. August Wilson looks to the rhythms and patterns of the music and sound of the blues to provide a link for disparate words and world views. In this portrait of the playwright, August Wilson shows how the rhythms and patterns from the 'sacred book of blues' are transformed into words and movement in his plays. Produced by Stephen Smith of Minnesota Public Radio. Listen to August Wilson's Sacred Book with Real Player..the rest of the story at the link

The world gets crazier and crazier everyday, doesn't it? The world that many of us thought was there, isn't. The bottom has dropped out of everything. The illusions have been revealed, we have found out who has been pulling the strings behind the scenes. Millions have lost their jobs, have mortgage problems, credit card issues, credit repair problems and foreclosure. What can be done? Amazingly, we have been mislead. We have been taught that we can control government by voting. The founder of the Rothschild dynasty, Mayer Amschel Bauer, told the secret of controlling the government of a nation over 200 years ago. He said, "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws." Get the picture? Your freedom hinges first on the nation's banks and money system. It's all about 'commerce'. Freedom is connected with Debt Elimination for each individual. Not only does this end personal debt, it places the people first in line as creditors to the National Debt ahead of the banks. They don't wish for you to know this. It has to do with recognizing WHO you really are in A New Beginning: A Practical Course in Miracles, an informational study. Is your credit rating bad for reasons that seem out of your control? There are ways of credit repair, so you can men those broken fences too. Do you want to keep your children protected from outside forces, there are ways of protecting your children. Do you want to keep your sons and daughters free from 'the draft'? Check this out.
