The Sheeple Analyst: Lying Little Laura Demonstrates Stepford Lies

Or, perhaps she was bragging a bit, no crime in that. Only someone with a tendency to see the bad and proclaim it such, such as yourself, would call that a deliberate lie and claim that she reflects the lies of the administration. One thing that bothers me is your tendency to make a mountain out of a mole hill by overreating to a remark you perceive in the context of your antagonitic approach, something I do not share. I see nothing wrong with her comments. It is not fair to make accusations on face value of the situation where background information does not exist. RHB Sheeple Analyst: Laura's comment was made over two months prior to Meet the Press.
Didn't you at least check the dates before making your assertion, "how do
you know that President Bush perhaps admitted he had written it after she
made the comment on Meet the Press." No doubt she WAS bragging a bit. But
then when she admitted that he hadn't written it she could have at least
apologized or explained how she had misunderstood or been mislead. It
could have been just a simple admission with no guilt. Big Lies have little lies Mr. Sheeple@f.......... wrote: I looked up the Meet the Press item from last sunday, I see nothing regarding "lieing" as you alleged in your 7th fire item! She noted that she did not think President Bush wrote it, but said that many people think he did! Seems to me you are so set on denigrating Bush, his wife and his administration that you read into items concepts that do not exist. Nothing is stated as to its origin, so I do not see where there exists the lie that you suggest. Considering the anti-Bush atttitude of the media, there would have certainly been a big flap had what you claim is true. RHB MRS. BUSH: Upon returning
home last night from my long trip, I found a lovely poem waiting for me.
Normally I wouldn't share something so personal, but since we're
celebrating great writers, I can't resist. "Dear Laura, roses are red,
violets are blue. Oh, my lump in the bed, I've missed you. Roses are red,
bluer am I, seeing you kissed by that charming French guy. The dogs and
the cat, they miss you, too. Barney's still mad you dropped him. He ate
your shoe. The distance, my dear, has been such a barrier. Next time you
want an adventure, just land on a carrier." Sheeple Analyst: I apologize. I made things too difficult for you. There were TWO links in that headline and you naturally only found one. And naturally you didn't go to its source at the White House. Here is the other link from the White House website: For Immediate Release Dear Laura, The distance my dear has been such a barrier, next time you want an adventure, just land on a carrier. I'm happy to be the inspiration behind this poem. Now you can squirm as much as you like. But trying to imagine who
else misses her in bed heads down a line of inquiry you probably wouldn't
like, either. Should we begin a corollary discussion about that? And
trying to imagine who else is jealous about the Frenchman's kiss wouldn't
be much better. So you're stuck with it.
This is just a wee sample of how the news is manipulated. I'm surprised that you expected Tim Russert to announce that she told a lie. That would not be good form, you know, pretty Laura, and who holds his contract, after all. He is NOT a free agent. None of the corporate news media employees are. Your lame lament that the media is anti-Bush is pitiful and here is just a tiny expose' of that. You've been listening to too many rabid, ultra-conservative propagandists flapping their vile invective. In the same set of headlines was another example of The Washington Post carrying out the garbage for the CIA with their obviously biased reporting about Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Laura's little faux-pas isn't really very important in and of itself, but it shows the penchant for telling lies. Little lies, bigger lies, deadly lies. Paraphrasing Ogden Nash: Big Lies have little lies
This is a measure of how far your moral compass has swung. Or to find if you still have one. Only you know the answer to that. No one went to war for this lie. No one was hurt in the slightest by this lie. Not in this country or any other. But it serves with clarity in pointing toward the moral decline of this nation, something Joe Farrah mentioned, I believe. And Cal Thomas. And Rush...... It points to the philosophy of Prince Machiavelli who advocated that any lie is warranted for the survival of the State. Where is your compass pointing? Do you have one? This has been a test of your personal early warning system. Tune to your inner voice for further instruction. And if you can't hear it, shut the mouth, turn off the mind and sit there until you can hear it. Or not. Mr. Sheeple@f..... wrote: Laura Bush lieing? Do not know the circumstances, but Hillary Clinton lied big time about Vincent Foster's death as an alleged suicide but the paramedics noted thre was no blood and the gun by the body was an inoperable antique firearm. How about the billing records that suddenly turned up in the living quarters several months after the investigation panel requested them and she expressed a lack of knowledge as to their whereabouts. How about her contention that Billy Dale of the travel office had been involved in stealing, had him removed for alleged criminal activity, but was later exonerated after he had died. You never have said anything critical about her! Sheeple Analyst: Don't know the circumstances? Read the White House Press Briefing and the short article about her appearance on Meet the Press. Don't bother wondering. READ. Look at how transparent this is..... It's all laid out for you in black and white and you refuse to see it and the sources are not the contrivance of a "liberal Bush-hater." On the White House web site and on national TV. So instead of clicking on the links to determine the circumstances you start to provide cover for the First Lady. Spin-doctoring comes close. Just point the finger at, at, at...."Hillary......and Vince Foster's alleged suicide...... look, up in the sky, a bird, a.......... Hey kids! It's Howdy Doody time! It's Howdy Doody time!....You didn't say anything about Hillary! Ma! He didn't......" Lord a mercy! Plunk the magic twanger Froggie! I've already said my piece about Hillary. Look it up in the archives. There is no excuse for the song and dance. Mr. Sheeple@f....... wrote: I may have dumped it because your comments were buried in a lot of rhetoric of an arrogant, angry and accusing natire nature disparaging my character, and I get tired of that. Sheeple Analyst: "Only a fool imagines trying to rectify the past. And only a fool continues to incessantly bring it up when the answer has been given repeatedly." Did I call you a fool? What would YOU call someone who wishes to rectify the PAST? What would YOU call someone who must be constantly reminded of what was said earlier? Got a better name? "But I am not satisfied with slogans nor the history lessons taught as slogans. I'm just holding a torch to these inept, useless fragments to determine their lack of value and then turn to deeper analysis. The wailing and whining I've been hearing is of no use to a carefully considered discussion." Perhaps you object to the comment about wailing and whining? Just returning your words to you. Don't like them coming back at you? Then change your own arrogance and incivility. Have I missed anything here? If that's it, then you just can't receive what you dish out. I can only suggest that you recognize that we are both adults and no longer is throwing sand in the sandbox OK. And if you do, get ready for a face full yourself. I'm no push over for abusive language, I know how to read it and how to deal with it. I know WHO I am and what I am not. This is a crazy world. What can be done? Amazingly, we have been mislead. We have been taught that we can control government by voting. The founder of the Rothschild dynasty, Mayer Amschel Bauer, told the secret of controlling the government of a nation over 200 years ago. He said, "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws." Get the picture? Your freedom hinges first on the nation's banks and money system. Freedom is connected with Debt Elimination for each individual. Not only does this end personal debt, it places the people first in line as creditors to the National Debt ahead of the banks. They don't wish for you to know this. It has to do with recognizing WHO you really are in A New Beginning: A Practical Course in Miracles, an informational study.
