A recent decision
[6/21/01] in a federal lawsuit will result in the continued recycling
of thousands of tons of radioactive metal for use in household products.
Because of a loophole in the Superfund cleanup law, a federal judge said
she could not order the Department of Energy (DOE) to stop the practice by
which nuclear materials are recycled and used in everyday consumer
products. The nuclear industry, in cooperation with the federal
government, has been attempting to "deregulate" radioactive metals from
weapon facilities and decommissioned nuclear power plants since the
1970s. Public Citizen and other citizens' organizations have successfully
prevented this practice prior to the ruling.

Fluoride Linked to Low IQ, Studies Show
Children's intelligence declines as their natural drinking water fluoride
levels increase, concluded a Chinese study in the May 2003 journal,
"Fluoride." Why would our government permit the dumbing down of
our children?
Children scored inferior IQ's even when fluoride levels were similar to
that added to U.S. water supplies to prevent tooth decay(1).
"As the fluoride levels in drinking water increased, the IQ fell and the
rates of mental retardation and borderline intelligence increased," write
researchers Xiang, et al.

When Army Reservist Rachael Lacy got her

MedImmune, the manufacturer of FluMist, recently announced that it signed
an agreement that makes FluMist, the new intranasal influenza vaccine,
readily available to people as they shop at Wal-Mart, the worlds biggest
retailer." FluMist contains live (attenuated) influenza viruses that
replicate in the nasopharynx of the vaccine recipient.10 million and 100
million viral particles will be forcefully injected into the nostrils when
administered. Intranasal injection of certain viruses has resulted in a
serious brain infection called encephalitis, presumably by direct
infection of the olfactory neurons that carried the viruses to the brain.

About six months ago I wrote an OpEd piece called "The Really Big Lie About Autism" in which I described the persistent yet illogical claim that all the autistic kids filling speech therapy sessions, classrooms, and even whole schools, are the result of "better diagnosing and greater awareness" on the part of doctors. In other words, autism has always been a major childhood disorder; we just didn't recognize it for what it was.

"Gardasil contains Polysorbate 80, which is linked to infertility in mice," noted Dee Nicholson, National Communications Director for Freedom in Canadian Health Care.
The Merck HocusPocusVaccine contains sodium borate (a common roach killer) in each of its three doses. The symptoms of sodium borate poisoning according to the NLM citation include many of the side effects being reported after less than six months of the vaccine usage. These include convulsions, collapse, and seizures (twitching of facial muscles, arms, hands, legs, and feet).

government health statistics shows that American medicine frequently
causes more harm than good. The number of people having in-hospital,

the 2001 heart disease annual death rate is 699,697; the annual cancer
death rate, 553,251.

US Army records show that seven men dropped dead after being
vaccinated.
A report from US Secretary of War Henry L Stimson not only verified these
deaths but also stated that there had been 63 deaths and 28,585 cases of
hepatitis as a direct result of yellow fever vaccination during only six
months of the war.
That was only one of the 14 to 25 shots given to recruits.
Army records also reveal that after vaccination became compulsory in the
US Army in 1911, not only did typhoid increase rapidly but all other
vaccinal diseases increased at an alarming rate.
After America entered the war in 1917, the death rate from typhoid
vaccination rose to the highest point in the history of the US Army. The
deaths occurred after the shots were given in sanitary American hospitals
and well-supervised army camps in France, where sanitation had been

The report of the Surgeon-General of the US Army shows that during 1917
there were admitted into the army hospitals 19,608 men suffering from
anti-typhoid inoculation and vaccinia. This takes no account of those
whose vaccine diseases were attributed to other causes.
The army doctors knew all these cases of disease and death were due to
vaccination and were honest enough to admit it in their medical reports.
When army doctors tried to suppress the symptoms of typhoid with a
stronger vaccine, it caused a worse form of typhoid paratyphoid. But when
they concocted an even stronger vaccine to suppress that one, they created
an even worse disease Spanish flu.
After the war, this was one of the vaccines used to protect a
panic-stricken world from the soldiers returning from WWI battlefronts
infected with dangerous diseases.

Monsanto, Stop Bullying Tiny Dairy Over Growth Hormones
In a move of Goliath-attacking-David proportions, Monsanto, the
multi-national agrichemical company, is suing a small, family-owned milk
producer in Maine because they advertise that their farmers pledge not to
use artificial growth hormones (also known as rBST) on the cows that
produce their milk.
In response to consumer demand for dairy products produced by cows free of
rBST, Oakhurst Dairy pays its suppliers a price premium not to use
artificial growth hormones on their cows and advertises this via a
"Farmer's Pledge" emblem on their products. The dairy makes no health
claim about the Farmer's Pledge, but Monsanto claims that even a factual
assertion misleads consumers!
Although approved for use in the U.S. by the FDA, artificial growth
hormones are already banned in the European Union and Canada, and Monsanto
clearly fears that even informing consumers of their use will damage its
sales. Lawsuits such as these are shameless attempts to use the financial
clout of a multi-billion-dollar monopolist to intimidate a tiny
family-owned business. Consumers want the information being provided to
them, and Monsanto should get out of the way.
Urge Monsanto to leave the Oakhurst Dairy alone and immediately drop its
lawsuit.
