It’s no secret that one of the largest blocs of people pressing for so-called “gun control” is the culturally (aka not-so-religious) American Jewish community. This confounds many observers who would expect that Jews, with such a stunning history of oppression and murder by humanity’s villains, would cling tenaciously to personal firearms and the ability to protect themselves as the Hebrew Scriptures instruct.
Why Jews Hate Guns, 5/11/12
I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bare arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don’t agree with a business’ political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.

Despite anti-gun zealots’ exploitation of Trayvon Martin’s now-infamous killing in late February, a new survey revealed that the vast majority of Americans continue to support the use of deadly force if needed in self-defense — even outside of the home. Laws permitting the carrying of concealed weapons have overwhelming public support as well, according to the Ipsos/Reuters poll released last week.

We should not worship the federal government. We should plan a peaceful revolution to overthrow the federal government. We should work toward the day when local governments replace 90% of the federal government.

The United Nations may think they’re weapons of mass destruction, but Americans seem to disagree. 2011 was yet another record breaking year for gun sales, with Americans purchasing some 10.8 million firearms, a 14% increase over the previous year and up over 50% from ten years ago as reported by the National Shooting Sports Foundation:

According to the FBI, over 1.5 million background checks on customers were requested by gun dealers to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System in December. Nearly 500,000 of those were in the six days before Christmas. It was the highest number ever in a single month, surpassing the previous record set in November.

So let me get this straight, people who want to ban guns "to keep us safer" would actually have preferred that 11-year-old Alyssa Gutierrez didn't have a gun on the night her house was attacked by three armed burglars when she was home alone?

The current trend is to disarm the citizenry, and that trend should be reversed. The citizenry should fully disarm the government and all its agents of force. If real freedom is the desired end, then gun control of the entire government is the obvious answer.
Only Gun Control That Can Save Liberty, 12/26/11
Firearms and ammunition may not be a typical investment asset for most, but considering the growth we have seen in the last decade, many more Americans are turning to them in times of uncertainty, crisis and distrust. We have yet to see our government make any significant changes to our economic policies, regulators continue to ignore the fraudulent activities and outright scams in financial circles, our currency is under threat of losing its world reserve status, more Americans than ever require government assistance just to put food on the table, and our liberties are being progressively restricted on an almost daily basis. Given the reaction to these circumstances thus far, it should be apparent that for those looking to protect their wealth, as well as their lives as crime and violence rise, guns and ammunition may be an excellent egg to add to the diversification basket.

Either gun manufacturers did a fantastic job on Black Friday promotions, or the American people are quickly waking up to the reality that all is not as peachy as it may seem.

Should guns only be permitted in the hands of special people? Should every gun in the world be found and destroyed, so no one has guns? What would be the most ethical way for today’s decision makers, influential individuals, and power groups to align themselves? What can the law ethically do to make the world a better, safer, more habitable place in which to live? What other institutions than the law might properly be involved? Rather than asserting answers to these questions on a take-it-or-leave-it basis, which would simply sort my readers into those who think, “I agree” and those who think, “I don’t agree”, I prefer to establish a basis for agreement at the outset by defining the ethical criteria to be imposed, and then using simple logic to derive the answers to the questions posed. In this way we may be able to achieve a better mutual understanding of the issues involved. Finally, when I reach the end of this process and some of us disagree again, we will have a structure in place that lets us examine exactly how we disagree; to determine which ethical definition or step in my logic is actually the point of disagreement.

The US Supreme Court declined Monday to take up a potentially important gun rights case examining whether a federal regulation banning loaded firearms from vehicles in a government park violated the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. It’s bad news for gun-grabbers and other enemies of the Second Amendment – only 26% of respondents to a recent poll believe the government should ban handguns. The poll is part of Gallup’s annual Crime poll, conducted Oct. 6-9. This year’s poll finds support for a number of gun-control measures at historical lows, including the ban on handguns, which is Gallup’s longest continuing gun-control trend, according to their website.

A Florida company is giving new clients a voucher to buy an AK-47 assault rifle to defend themselves from violent crime. Sarasota-based MerchantService.com is a business that provides small stores and businesses with cash machines and credit card processing services. Its "No Merchant Victim" program now offers a voucher that can be used to buy a gun such as an AK-47 from a local gun dealer, or upgraded security camera equipment, when clients have had its services for three months. "We encourage all merchants to stand their ground against attack with lethal force," company president Gino Kauzlarich told AFP. "Hence our recommendation they buy a firearm such as a AK-47... (But) what the merchant chooses to do with the voucher payment cash is the merchants choice."

The only hijacker ever shot on an U.S. airliner, was on September 15, 1970 on board a TWA, Boeing 707 jet. The flight left Chicago for San Francisco, but gunman Don Irwin, 27, seized the plane just after an L.A. stopover. Irwin threatened flight attendants in the aft galley with his gun demanding the plane head to North Korea.

I was recently asked to write an article which would be of interest to people who cherish the 2nd Amendment to the United States Constitution. #1 Few people have more experience talking to others who cherish the 2nd Amendment than me. I am the only attorney who is regularly invited to speak to groups of people in Arizona who attend the Crossroads of the West #2 gun shows about their rights and responsibilities as firearms owners. Indeed, I enjoy talking to people who cherish the 2nd Amendment, and I acknowledge, agree and respect the rights of free and responsible adults to acquire, possess and sell whatever weapons they peacefully obtain. I am far more concerned about the government bearing arms than I am about responsible citizens bearing arms.
Don’t Cherish the 2nd Amendment!, 9/7/11
The greatest gun grab in world history is in the midst of debate in the UN and is being pushed by Obama, Holder, Clinton, and all of Obama's Czars. Citizens of the United States, in fact citizens around the world, deserve to know what this treaty, if ratified by the Senate, would mean to Americans.

The recent outbreaks of indiscriminate violence in Europe highlight a disturbing trend of decivilization throughout Western society. Pundits and "experts" weave countless theories to try to explain what's happening. Some sound plausible enough, but only those of us who understand sound economic theory have the tools to decipher the meaning of these current events. Those who use these tools will discover that the state has not only caused this turmoil directly in various ways (via welfarism, militarism, inflation, state schooling, and more), but it is also preventing people from defending themselves and their property. I am referring, of course, to gun-control laws.
Lessons from European Violence, 8/15/11
It can be argued that the only personal property specifically protected by the U.S. Constitution is firearms. While the Fourth Amendment promises, "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized," it does specifically allow for such seizure if the "i's" are properly dotted and the "t's" correctly crossed. Similarly, the Fifth Amendment guarantees against a person being "deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation," but again, it recognizes a process for such deprivation and taking. The Second Amendment contains no such provisions for circumvention. The Second Amendment states that, "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Texas Congressman and GOP presidential hopeful Ron Paul continues to champion constitutional rights. His latest endeavor is a bill that would abolish “gun-free zones,” ultimately permitting teachers to carry firearms on school grounds. Predictably, anti-gun groups are calling the legislation “extremist.”
Ron Paul Introduces Pro-gun Legislation to Abolish Gun-Free Zones, 8/4/11
Gun owner registration … bans on semi-automatic firearms … adoption of a UN gun control treaty -- all of these issues could very well be decided over the next 24 hours. Both houses of Congress will be voting on a debt ceiling bill that establishes a legislative committee with TREMENDOUS powers. Fox News is calling this committee a SUPER CONGRESS, because its legislative proposals (which could include gun control provisions) CANNOT be filibustered or amended in the Senate or House. To understand what a huge deal this is, consider that House Speaker John Boehner is able to keep a mountain of gun control bills from coming to the floor of the House. That’s the power of the Speaker. And in the Senate, we have been able to kill much of the gun control agenda by filibustering legislation (that is, requiring the Majority Leader to get a supermajority or 60 votes in order to pass gun control).
Congress to decide whether Super Congress could impose gun control, 8/1/11
The Obama administration implemented its most aggressive and controversial gun measure to date Monday when it ordered dealers in four Southwestern states to report multiple sales of semiautomatic rifles to the federal firearms bureau. The rule, which had been opposed by the National Rifle Association and many members of Congress, takes effect immediately and is meant to stem gunrunning to violent Mexican drug gangs. It requires about 8,500 dealers operating in the border states of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to alert authorities when a person buys within five days two or more semiautomatic rifles greater than .22-caliber with detachable magazines.
Gun dealers will have to report multiple sales of semiautomatic rifle, 7/11/11
It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesn’t approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends. Under the guise of a proposed global “Small Arms Treaty” premised to fight “terrorism”, “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates” you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted – our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.
